i had 60psi in mine.... but that was mainly for riding to college so i dont think this would be wise for DH id put about 40psi in

I use Kenda Blue Groove and Nevegal. Not the strongest of side walls but they seem to offer really good grip. So far had no pinch flat on em either which i am pleased about cause i tend to run mine quiet soft compared to alot of people, not sure of the psi. Inners is very rooty so the softer the pressure the better the grip but don't get too hooked up on psi and stuff the best thing to do is ride and adjust accordingly to the conditions and terrain. I am 14 stone and have mine way softer than Matt who must weigh 12 stone!!!!

As for tubes i would also recomend the Gazzalodi DH Tubes don't use Maxxis tubes they are shit!!!

Little tech tip for you........ When you put your tubes on give them a good coating of baby talcum powder as it lets the tube slip over the rim rather than gripping the rim when hitting rocks etc, preventing pinch flats. Seems to work for me!!! Wink Very Happy

12 stone?!?! 11st 6lbs get it right lol

i jus have the pressure hard so i dont get pinch flats if i hit roots/rocks etc, but then i have my sus prettty soft so its a smoother ridee

with a higher pressure you get a better rolling speed etc (next john will say - thats why hes slow because his tyre pressure is lower...)

personal preference really just experiment Very Happy

I think the maxxis tubes are fine once there in the bike the reason u had loads of pinches when we rode inners first john was cos of the tyres u were using imo.

i am gna stop using dh tubes with my tyres with decent sidewalls as there jus overkill imo and the lower weight at the edges the better the acceleration
