dont know if anyone else has realised but theres a big lack of decent riding spots locally.... apart from carlton and chewys (which are both only ridable in fair weather as they are pretty exposed)

was thinking of trying to get somewhere like the shailheaps built, somewhere sheltered that can be rode almost any time to practise on, mainly because since my bike was nicked and the shailheaps destroyed ive become pretty crap at riding (jumping imparticular)

just wondering if anyone can think of anyplaces that would be good for some dirtjumps? maybe a downhill aswell if we can get permission. and somewhere local so we dont havta travel all the way to hamsterly just to be able to ride!

suggestions anyone?

theres a place half way up the second section of the unsuitables thats been deforested a couple of years back (right hand side when going up) i showed john it a few months back it would be ideal

the only down side which will put most people off is that it the initial clearing of space would be hell as its been replanted but ont the up side there are no substantial roots to get in the way once the diggin has started

if we could get a good turn out one day we could get a good area cleared for at least one main line and then add to it as time goes on it would be cool to cut thin lines through the little trees rather than a big open space like the shail heaps were.
