this weekend i was at glencoe and it was awful! after taking 6 or 7 hours to get there i saw the track and it was WET, and i mean WET! i got ready, all nice and clean and went for the uplift. got to the top and it was wet and windy, but that was only the beginning. after setting off on my first run i realised how wet it was, every corner there where yellow flags and everyother corner there was a red flag. every rider was on the floor and nobody was happy. as i got to the bottom where it flattened out a bit it got even worse, causing 2 wheel drifts everywhere. after that i had only 1 more run, meaning it took us 7 hourd of travelling for 2 runs.

after finishing a 3:30 we had nothing to do but getting changed and trying to dry out the race kit. as we waited for hours with nothing to do we notice that most people had left and by about 9 clock there was only about 50 people left in the car park. so at half eight we got into the tent and tried to go to sleep but the wind was that bad the tent was all over the place, other peoples tents had collapsed and the guys next to us even but their gazebo in the skip! so we finally got a little bit of sleep but when we woke up at 1 oclock i found the tent hitting me in the head and after closer inspection the guide ropes wither snapped or came loose. at that point the weekend was over!! we collapsed the tent got in the van and drove home. having only 2 runs on the track i didnt even want to do the race. after taking 10 hours to drive home we got in and now i am sitting here typing this while i was meant to he riding down a hill. Goodluck to everyone who stayed to race but it was that bad even Danny Hart left at about 9 oclock.

this post is a little long but i just cant describe how bad everything was, lets hope its better for the next race.

Fucking hell thats shocking!! It really needs sorting out that track, they had a bedding in day a few weeks back, but for me i think you need a good few wkends on it for a track to start bedding in.

Sorry to hear about the shit wkend mate.

well that "Bedding in Session" didnt do much good, the rain just washed everything away. when i fell off i had to push it down a bit cause it was too muddy to start where i fell off, i just kept sliding down.

in the dry it would be awesome, its just rocks all the way down, no jumps and no drops or anything just rocks and turn so you would really be able to pin it, but in the wet its not so good.
