I've sacked off playing football, all expect a game of 5-a-side every now and then
Far to many injuries!
I agree wih Ses, hang the boots up and stick with the bikes
Hope there's not to much damage and yur back out soon mate! _________________

just on the tinternet in the hotel and i decided to cut my pot off yesterday cause it was doin my head in!! I hav a nice array of blue yellows and black colours all over my elbow. Feels class when it out the cast but i make sure i put it on when i am out on the piss.
The doc said it could be 6 weeks off the bike so fort bill is tight but am hoping so much i can ride it. _________________ Practise makes compound fractures before it makes perfect!!!!

if you give it complete rest i think it will be ok, but most people think it is better than it is and ride, which makes it worse. if you give it a good ret until fort bill i think you will be able to ride, and what do doctors know anyway!! the downhiller is a rare breed |

Once the cast is off (properly) I would see what physio they offer you, most of the time it is minimal and mainly exercises you could do at home...
I would go to a private physio, they are awesome, Marcus had his neck/back sorted after a spil at Inners and I had my back seen to after trapping a nerve at the gym and my shoulder look at after I dislocated it playing football.
They are usually about £30 an hour which I dont think is bad and it could have you back on the bike faster than you think.
But on the negative side, when Wayne fucked his elbow it was a few months before he was riding at speed again, you lose so much muscle whilst in a cast and it takes a while to get your strength back
Anyway you could always as the doctor for a cortazone injection which will numb the pain of a gun shot! _________________
