New to the site and sort of new to mountain biking at this sort of level. I used to ride a lot about 15 years ago, and you may laugh but i had a kick ass Marin Palisades....lol . yer one of them old dogs.
Anyways, Im looking for north shore to ride, and sort of get the feel of, I have a bike even though its only a front sus, but still its a little rocket.
OH and i notised somebody said they wanted help building. well im up for it. just let me know what tools you want me to bring and im there.
hopefully see you on the trail

hahaha
I knew you would ask that, Ive got a Dawes hardtail at the moment but looking a getting a X/c and downhiller, you know a good alrounder.
Any suggestions?
I was looking at getting an Orange patriot? but to be honest I really need help on picking a bike soon as im going to be getting it in the next dew weeks.
As for riding, not done much latelly, a few tracks at about 10 miles, nothing harsh. I used to race years ago in hebden bridge.....
anyway like i said, any suggestions on the bike, would be appreciated |

it depends how fit u are and if ur not fit if ur willing to perservere with xc cause they are heavy bike aroung 40lb i think the 66 freeride would be the best bike cause it iis very strong and hard hitting and also has very good geometry for day to day riding so perfect for freeride and light xc _________________ I can film myself... well the road jump is "under construction" we need to make a kicker and sort something out with the run in but it will probably be done in a few weeks when we find time to fit it in

Hello garath and welcome to the nefreeriders. If you are up our way anytime drop us a line and come join us for a blast we are a mixed bunch of riders from the experienced to just starting out, but the main thing is we have a laugh. In the mean time i hope you enjoy the videos and pictures and i know i have been saying this for a while now, but i will be sorting the site out very soon with a re-design and a load of updates.

Hi john
ive been watching the videos and looking at the pictures, there are some cool stuff.
As for getting up north, me and the G/F have been up Dalby forest a few times now, and probably going up loads more, cos we have a tent and the gear too.
Oh ive got a bike now too, I managed to get hold of a Scott nitrous 30 off a lad on another forum. it has Maz front triple clamp forks, Manituo metal back shock (which i think i need a new spring for). hope up front and hayes on the back. going to post a few pictures as soon as i get them downloaded.
anyway lads, i hope we catch up soon then you can teach me the ways of a freerider? lol |
