Running is always good. XC bike is Better and weights helps too. I would say XC bike 3 times a week weights 2 times a week. _________________ Practise makes compound fractures before it makes perfect!!!!

kk here goes i dont train in the summer as im racing most of it so its liikes training but in the weeks inbetween races in the summer i still go out every wednesday with my local xc club then other days i go to our dirt jumps and dig ma ass off.
in the winter months i build sections of my cross country track it is currently about 2 hours long it is really fun makin your own xc track because you can link all of your favourite spots up and make ur spots even better. i go out my xc bike every 2 days i only go out for about 2 hours which isnt very long but i cover a large distance, at the start of the ride i sprint up this really steep hill 3 or 4 times lyk propper sprinting no brake just up down up down. then go on the rest of the ride whilse im riding if i have any uphill sections i sprint them all no matter how tired or how big they r just grit my teeth and get up as fast as i can(pretend ur being chased by a big gang of murderers of wolves then u go faster) then i obv sprint on the downhills so it is a very hard sprint ride. on the nights inbetween xc i do weights and sit ups or pull ups.(weights are cheap from argos) when it is raining i go to my local gym and do cardiovascular work and excersises that require a lot a hard breathing.
i dont do weights in the gym because its a waste of time as i have some at home.
another few very small tips are:
-brush your teeth with a manuel brush trust me it works for your armpump
-buy a powerball these work great for arm pump and are quite fun
-dont overwork yourself
- dont train the day after a race
-dont train the day before the race
- in the winter i hardly ever go out thats when i dont give a shit when people complain cause im never coming out winter is for training see ur m8s in the summer when its dry and sunny. |

If you're getting armpump brushing your teeth you must have one hell of a toothbrush. (or really thin arms). _________________ Speedway, speedway and a bit of downhill. |
