there was good racing at carlton bank at the weekend. the track is really good, considering the time taken to built it. its fast but technical with some good jumps.

i didnt have the best of runs but my time wasnt bad. on my first run it was alright but on one corner i got it wrong and stumbled and slowed to an almost stop, got back on track as quick as possible and finished ok, tha gave me a time of 1:34.02. on my second run i had a really clean and fast run, possible the fastest of the weekend until... i wend over a jump, which turned left shard, got it a bit wrong and managed to land heavy into a load of bark or something, got up and de wedged my foot from the back wheel and continued, that gave me a time of 1:40.00. dont know which position i finished in but i know danny hart got a 1:26.??.

the only problem was the way it was ran, they used stop watches, which didnt give a completely accurate time. apart from those small glitches im ready for fort bill...maybe????

were you at the right carlton? Confused i went to watch and it looked really slow (probably because of the surface being VERY soft, wasnt particulary technical and the jumps were small Confused

i think the original track is ALOT better and its twice as long and would of been alot better for the race

to be honest im glad i didnt pay to race there....

I poped up during sunday just up on motorbike and looked from the road, seemed quite quiet a smallish gathering. From what i could see of the top section, i think i would of prefered the older course, come quite far down now!

What's the bottom section like now?

so carlton has had some work done? cool.
will have to check that out. was a cool place about 5 years ago, did a couple of races there. loved the bombhole in the bottom section and the fast top section down the the grave jump.
could never really get all the tight steep corners on the bottom section well.
i overtook a guy the last race i did there.
